 | I know there is a setlist section here, and we´re all grateful to both Nancy for her intrepid reporting & to Proof, for his nearly heart-stopping original "I need a setlist OR I WILL DIE" thread, but...
I thought let´s just make it neat, clean, efficient & multi-purpose.
Of course transferring lists to the actual setlist section here is the right & ideal thing to do, but to get everyone the fast, need it now or death may ensue, & easy Forum based info option, I figured I´d kick-start up this very thread that you´ve just finished reading.

 | If you want to remove the "(Instant Forum" part of the thread title, it´s fine with me...that way the word "Tour" would show up. |

 | Hi linclink - I am really not sure if this is a good idea and would appreciate if this wont happen.
It would be better to post the setlist in the tour section, and just link to that page (you get the link if you scroll over the "Paul Simon" on the upper left.
The sense of the tour section is to have the setlist also available in 10 years, and in a good system with some order. Here on the forum everything gets mixed up and in 2 years you have no idea how to search for a specific setlist on a specific show. You have to read trough 100 messages to find it again.
So please, post the setlist to the tour section, and post a link to that concert/review.
Sorry, but I hope this system wont be destroyed now. Or how would you find the setlist of a show in 2002 now? |

 | @Bodo- Just to toss this out there...I don´t mind volunteering to tend this thread, if you wanted to save it...
Meaning that I´d take setlists from here & post them to the actual setlist data base that already exists here.
I just did that in fact with the setlist from last night.
Also FYI...if anyone doesn´t already know about it, this website is a great resource for setlists, and if anyone wanted to take the time they could check it against the database here & fill in some dates...and/or fill in some dates from this database for their website...Here´s the address...

 | I´ve taken all the setlist from this website
http://www.setlist.fm/setlists/paul-simon-5bd6e3a8 .html
And I´ve transfered them to the date base for set list here...except for the two that I started threads for because they weren´t in the data base here. Blessings! |

Nice page, has about 30 entries (a good portion without setlists) by Paul Simon. We have 274 setlists and 1124 concert dates, so theres a lot of work for you to copy everything :-)

 | Ok, then sorry for that - but your posting looked like a working instruction for me ("show to add...")
So I checked it now, and yeah, was confused :-) |

 | No problem. I know how to add setlists here but not shows.
Those two other threads I posted here have two shows that I didn´t find listed here, so if you could possibly add them & their setlists to the data base here that would be much appreciated. I would have done so, but I didn´t know how.
As I noted I´ve added/merged all the other info from the setlists website to the data base here...except for those two shows that I couldn´t find & started threads about... |
