 | Sometimes I think I know what women think:) But then again I am shocked by their decisions. (Don´t want to go into detail;)
There´s a lot of creativity in the contest, but 80 % makes my ears hurt or bore me. Many didn´t listen to the harmonic structure of the song or they made crude rhythm mistakes or didn´t respect the essence of Paul´s music.
Still very interesting and courageous of Paul. |

 | I´m thinking of it. I have very little experience with mixing/recording and I can´t make the song better - I might just do it for fun. In any case I would take my time - and I´m a slow worker. |

 | You know, I have heard all the versions of the Beatles songs, but when it comes down to it, it always seems like the one they chose for release is the best. When Paul releases a record with this many sounds, there are so many decisions he is making as to which instrument we will hear and where voices go and tempo. He keeps saying he likes working in the studio with the sound, I guess this is part of what he is talking about. I find all these remixes pretty uninteresting in themselves (at least the ones I have listened to) but it has given me more of an appreciation for the work that Paul puts into making these records I enjoy so much. I guess credit must go to Roy Halee too, in this case. |

 | Does anyone know a good software for remixing (maybe a 30 day trial version would be enough...)
I have a nice idea now. And I see it could work.
The guys from this website do not have any idea who Paul Simon is (at least I have the feeling), they just use their usual remix style and make it without any Love for details. |
