Wow, The Obvious Child is great! Paul´s voice sounds fab, too. Can´t wait to hear this live. Hope that song will stay in the setlist until Europe.

Hey Bodo, will the Ireland show be your only concert? Or will you come over to Germany, too? Would Love to finally meet you in person! :-))

Amazing - I Love The Obvious Child and haven´t heard him play that since May 1991!

Can´t wait to see this at the two concerts I am going to - plus on TV when he plays Glastonbury.

Hi Miriam.
So far Ireland will be the only show. I thought of traveling to Germany first, but Berlin is the only show without seats...and I did not want to travel to Berlin.

I would only add the Cork show if I can find some cheap tickets on ebay, but I guess that wont happen.

I have to admit I lost a little bit of my enthusiasm to travel around everywhere, because the concert tickets are so expensive now. In 2002 I went to 5 shows, one free, one for 35 euros, one for 12 euros (ok had luck), can´t remember the prices for Munich and Montreux, but was around 50 Euros I guess. On all of those shows I could stand in the first row, because we´ve just been waiting in front of the stadion for some hours.
Now you have to plan months before to get some good seats in row 4,5 or 6, and pay 80-110 Euros for the tickets. 1 show should be enough ;)

Okay, I see. Yes going to concerts has become very expensive... I´ve already spent quite an amount of money on various trips this year. I´m going to see Paul in Mainz (which, fortunately, isn´t too far from where I live) and Hamburg... Hamburg is really expensive but I keep telling myself this might be his last tour :-/

Yes Obvious Child sounds fantastic.

I have been to many concerts now, but my first overseas trip still remains the ultimate benchmark - that was Sydney October 1991 (2 nights in a row) and those concerts started with the brilliant The Obvious Child with Olodum.

Now I really can´t wait to get to Toronto and New York for these concerts.
