 | The reviewer from Buffalo is the second I´ve read to say the guy driving in the 96 ford is the G-d, the same voice as the proceeding character (big bang, thats a joke that I made up)
I don´t see that at all. I think it is the same general voice as the earlier verses and I think Paul tried to make that clearer on the live version on Fallon when he changed it to "but sometimes, you got to fly down.." Still you gotta give it to him for the positive review. To me this is a review that makes sense, a guy who likes Paul´s music writing a review. Who are these guys who just don´t like anything Paul does writing for? Other people who don´t like Paul probably don´t need a review to confirm their feelings, and it certainly doesn´t help anybody who might be interested int he music..

| Yeah I take it as Paul Simon´s voice as well, rather than God´s. But yes, the guy is definitely deserving of credit for such a great review otherwise. |

Big Bang, that´s a joke that I made up once when I had eons to kill" that is G-d´s voice (or Paul´s interpretation of it, unless Paul has had eons to kill sometime, and created the Universe. He is good, but maybe not THAT good.
However, after that verse he seems to return to his narrator voice, whether it is Paul or not depends on how much you think the song is about him.
But these reviewers seem to think it is the same voice (character) throughout the song, when it clearly is not. |

| Yeah the only part I took to be God was the part where his voice gets really deep. I thought it was genius because the character was so cool confident and mysterious, exactly how I would imagine a God to be. |
