 | Amazon.com shipped my copy earlier today. They estimate I´ll get it Thursday next week (I hope so, I go on holiday the day after!). In the mean time I´m listening to all Paul´s solo albums in full and in order, something I don´t think I´ve ever done. |

 | @ Phil- Right on!
And in Phil´s words...GOT IT!! Or as an infamous moments in New York Mets history goes- "Yo La Tengo"!!
Yeah, the sound is a way pumped past what we had on those MP3´s...just when I thought I couldn´t Love it anymore.
@ Tom- The radio interview, entitled "A Guided Tour Of So Beautiful Or So What" with Paul Simon & Phl Ramone carries some of the audio we hear & see in the mini-documentary about the making of the album & lots & lots more. It´s really great, and I´m sending a CD-R loseless copy to another forum member here ASAP, & he´s going to post it in the "excessive fan" section for all to enjoy. I´ve sent it to a few friends who are going to Toronto with me...like Phil :), so he might choose to comment here as well. Blessings! |

 | Thanks for your answer. I´ve found it online, but I´m not sure how to download it... Be great if it was here in the excessive fans section. Am I right that it´s about an hour long?
So, the deluxe version... the mini documentray that´s featured, is it the same as we have seen online, about 8 minutes long? Or is there extra footage?? |

 | I got my Delux album today - haven´t listened or watched any of yet (had to hand in my notice at work-Big Day!!)
But what i can say is the artwork and presentation of the album is fabulous - as a scientist I Love to have something PS that can be included in presentations.
Only drawback - Paul like yourself many of your fans are advancing in years and their eyesight may not be the best - reading black on a dark background can be very difficult!!! |

 | Yes to both Sue.
My brother ordered it as present for me about a month ago and he got it yesterday. He´s a bus driver on a route beside where I work so I was standing at a bus station, waiting for my birthday present, doing a tour of Crumlin town where cigarettes and drugs abound. Tonight I´ll play his songs again etc etc |

 | I got it yesterday at Best Buy -- I´m "Old school" too and waited for official release. This is the first one of his albums I´ve bought in many years (except re-releases of old S&G albums. I´m enchanted -- no duds on album and sound is beautiful/lush. Subtle, humorous lyrics;playful and engaging use of sounds and instruments. I´m not a fan of much of Mr. Simon´s later work, but this one is a home run! |

 | Have just listened to the PRX A Guided Tour of SBOSW. It is different in parts to the other version. Includes both Paul and Phil Ramone discussing the making of it and lasts 54 mins. Really interesting. |

 | I should have ordered from Germany then Matthew, did you get the DVD as well? Mine has been shipped from Amazon.com on 11th April, but they say delivery will be around 2nd May! I paid extra for ´expedited international shipping´ so I wouldn´t expect it to take that long. I usually find they arrive earlier than they say anyway. |

 | Hmm yes - got the CD+DVD coming from cdwow in Germany - not arrived yet (Amazon were going to charge 20+ euros for delivery which seemed a little ridiculous). Basic CD coming via ´expedited delivery´ from Amazon.com (2nd May!!!) I wonder which will get here first??? Oh - for people in the UK - switch your iTunes store to US and listen to extended (1min 30s) clips of songs in the Apple Lossless format - they sound much much better than the streamed quality - an indication of the CD quality - the depth of sound and stuff going on in the mix is incredible! (SBOSW itself sounds soooo much better than in streams for example) |
