Paul played "Love and Hard Times" live for the first time back in 2008 at the Montreux Jazz Festival. I´ve got an audience recording of this performance, but the sound quality isn´t great.
Now, let me just say, that I think this is the best performance he´s given of this song (so far! I know it´s likely on th setlist for the upcoming tour!), not just musicaly, but with the earlier version of the lyrics which, whilst great on the album, just don´t quite seem to "flow" in the same way... Maybe it´s just me.
Anyway, I heard there was a soundboard recording of this performance (and Paul´s whole performance at this festival). Does anyone know if this does exist and, if it does, if anyone can share it in the excessive fans section? It would be really great to hear this song in full... I´m sure this was the first time he ever sang the song.
