I am surprised that he has not done SBOSW instead of LIESL.
´Mother & Child´ was amazing too. I am happy that this song is back. |

| Eternal Light was the best but already taken down from Youtube. Horrible that Jimmy (never saw him before) trying to sing with Paul. I think there is a new
drummer too. Won´t listen to Mother and Child anymore and I loved it until I found out what is was about. |

| What is Mother and Child about? I always thought a reunion would be a happy occasion and thought the lyrics were strange. Well, it was the name of a dish someplace called that. it was a

| Oh yes I know that, but I don´t think that´s what the lyrics of song is about that was just the name of the dish and Paul borrowed that name for his song.
It´s more about the unique bond between mother and child and that reunion could be happy as well as sad I guess. In life or in death. |

| I´ve actually gained more appreciation for "Mother And Child Reuinion" after hearing about the "Vietnam" inspiration. Obviously there´s some rhythm inspiration but to hear the two in the same context gives a sweet ending to Jimmy Cliff´s song and a deeper meaning to Paul´s.
The death of a loved one is sad be it a dog or a child, and the way Paul Simon approaches it in his song is a hopeful look at the afterlife. |

| yes i have it, just had some problems to cut / convert it. Thats why I haven´t posted the video yet.
I´m uploading an mkv version of that video right now. Could take some time as it has 174MB. Will post it as soon as the upload is done.
Had to delay the audio to sync it with the video, because of that the first ~2 seconds will sound a bit strange (not the song itself of course)
