 | SBOSW is a very PLEASANT record to listen to, but Suprise was much more INTERESTING to listen to, imho. It feels as though Paul may have lost a certain AMBITION to shoot for magnificance, which is both good and bad.
All the "best since Graceland" comments slight Rhythm Of The Saints, I think, which was wonderful and always get slighted in comparison to Graceland.

 | If you have done sound of silince in the age of 20 so can everything after what call not intresting. But that song is alredy done, Graceland is already done and this is a new album in the age of 70, I think it´s intresting, how many can do a record who is so great today if you already have wrote so many good songs, and how can you write intresting subject whit so many songs alredy done, I think it´s a very good intresting, beautiful album | | | | DannyJ

 | ROTS is the album I´ve listened to least of all Paul´s work. It´s not that I don´t like it, I just think the others are better! That´s the thing with music, it´s subjective.
SBOSW is a fine album, which is growing one me daily. Critics always hold Graceland up as the peak of Paul´s career, and compare everything to it, but I have to disagree. All Paul´s albums are different, but throughout them all there´s no doubt who´s fingers are on those guitar strings!
We all have a favourite. ROTS? That´s Fine by me. My favourite is Hearts & Bones, thank you! :-) | | | | The777Man

I just read tead the review of the new album in Rolling Stone magazine now and they said it was the best since ROTS.
I haven´t heard it yet; waiting until it´s officially released in a week on CD.
I agree that each album has its own feel to it and we all have our favorite ablum/s; mine happen to be ROTS as well. | | | | |
