 | Hi Bodo,
It would be nice to see you there. We will stay in Cork for 6 days for a short holiday.

 | If you are spending some time in Cork, might be worth making your way down to Dingle, a few hours drive away. There´s a Paul Simon commemoration ´star´ there. Dingle is also very picturesque. |

 | It´s right in the centre of Dingle town. I stumbled across it completely by accident years ago when I visited Dingle and it was a nice Surprise. It´s like a mini Hollywood Walk of Fame!
If you google it you´ll see some pics on the web |

 | Another date in Germany has popped up at eventim.de: Hamburg, Laeiszhalle (never heard of that venue), on July 9. It says tix will be available soon. |

 | Ah this is good, I think I will fly into Hamburg early on Saturday 9th and then train to Berlin on the 10th then fly back from Berlin on Tuesday 12th. I will see two shows and have a mini-break! |

 | So, anybody going to Hamburg and got a real good ticket? I´m still pondering... First rows still seem to be either blocked or already sold... |

 | Hi miriam.
I got tickets in the second row, place 10 and 11. So they aren´t blocked, they were sold out very soon... |

 | Oh, I see. Hmm, so the only halfway good option left seems to be a ticket in row 2 on the very left or right, or row 4, also on the right... Or row 8 or something, in the middle, which seems too far away. So: Far left/right and close to the stage, or middle seat and a bit more behind? I´ll sleep over it... |

 | Hello there, I have the same problem. Can anyone tell me, why the Hamburg tickets are much more expensive than the tickets in Mainz ? But the Hamburg date is on weekend, works for me better. Is there any information, that there will be more dates in Germany soon ? I live in Bottrop near Essen and I won t drive to Mainz or Hamburg if there will be dates in NRW soon. Are there any rumors ?
Greetings

 | The tickets in Mainz seems to be extraordinary chep this year. Might got something to do with the "Festival Summer" of the City Mainz.
In 2008 they were around 70â?¬ each, no "booked" seats to buy and they sold serveral of hundred tickets extra than seats available. So definitely they made more money back then.
I don´t know. How are the prices for other venues in Europe?
In Berlin it´s 70â?¬ but they hadn´t opend the seats-area yet. They may be more expensive. |

 | The venue in Hamburg seems to be very nice, as far as I´ve read it´s used for classical concerts mostly. And if I´m not completely wrong, the Laeiszhalle is the former Musikhalle (at least the address is the same) where I first saw Paul in 2000. Tickets were already quite expensive back then, too - 161 Marks. Quite a lot, I was still at school back then (OMG where did time go??). 108 Euro is a LOT too and I´m still pondering over the seating plan... |
