 | I literally choked up myself at the clip on his official website...as I said in another thread- I´m thinking "Dazzling Blue" may end up my fave track on this album (as "Once Upon A Time There Was An Ocean" was on "Surprise")...
Let´s hope it´s the next track that gets leaked...we just passed 106,000 on his FB page...4,000 to go to the next song...with very little time left to do so, might I add...
I really hope "Dazzling Blue" ends up as some sort of lead off single type of track...Very excited... |

 | I like them all, but Dazzling blue is very diffrent it sounds 1950 and in the mix of an Simon and Gafunkel tune, It is a very beautiful tune, Another Galaxy is the same on Surprise. |

 | Love it too, one of my favourites...along Love is eternal sacred light, Rewrite, Love in hard times, SBOSW, Amulet (wow is he good on the guitar)...
Still GRFCD is interestingly my least favourite one, and I am happy about that ;-) |

 | @ Pelle- "Another Galaxy" was my 2nd favorite track on "Surprise"- and a very close 2nd as well to "Once Upon A Time There Was An Ocean" (crazy about "Everything About It Is A Love Song" too), and that´s really saying something since I´d put "Surprise" in the top shelf of Paul Simon´s work- one of my four fave solo works he´s done, and one of my fave half dozen albums he´s ever made period. It was my favorite album of that decade...and so far of this century ;)
So far I´d say that "So Beautiful Or So What" will most likely land on the top shelf (with "Surpise", "Heart & Bones", "Graceland" & "Rhythm Of The Saints"), or the next shelf after that (with "Paul Simon" & "There Goes Rhymin´ Simon"- sometimes I put "You´re The One" up this high too).
The run with "Surprise" & "So Beautiful Or So What" reminds me of his work from "Hearts & Bones" & "Graceland" through "Rhythm of The Saints"- while each album was/is unique, there carries with it a certain feeling of freshness & experimentation...and the certain sense of a guy who is working at the very top of his game. |

 | well, there you have it. I kind of think it is musically very similar, except in the case of stranded he chose to make it mostly jokey, and in so beautiful its pretty serious, but they have the smae sort of percussive propulsion (if you´ll escuse the phrase.
Anyway, I Love the line "ain´t it strange the way we´re ignorant, how we seek out bad advice, I think of it whenever I hear our nuclear power plant advocates here saying that it is still a good idea to build more. This is such an amazing thing to do, one of the things we humans can do to really mess up the planet fast, fast fast. |

 | We should strongly protest to new builds of nuclear power. The governments should look seriously for environment friendly ways for power. At the same time I still believe we should all be more responsable about using power. Start doing it with minor things. If you can take the bike instead of the car, do it, don´t be lazy...;-) Try to use less power in your house, switch off tv´s, radio when you are not watching or listening, turn the heat down when you leave the house. There are lots of small things we can do to help mother Earth to survive.
I already made myself guilty at booking flights to Cork to see Paul in concert;-) but I started a long time ago with saving energy in and around my home.

 | I think I have heard in western Europe there wont be build any new nuklear power plants, but the rest of the world has it´s own way.
Mr. Sarkozy just wanted to sell some nuklear power plants to his long pal Gaddafi...now his plans have changed a little bit :) |

 | don´t worry too much about the flights Ans they were already going anyway - Actually the new restrictions on luggage weight also save fuel! |

 | Did you hear all of Dazzling Blue on the Paul Simon website or just a part? I only found a snippet of it.
BTW, maybe Paul will play "Citizen of the Planet" on the new tour. |
