| FYI: I just listened to the clips on both available websites back to back...and discovered that...if you listen to the Concord website clip first & then the official Paul Simon page clip, both "Love And Hard Times" and "Love Is Eternal Sacred Light" almost run through as continuation where Concord drops off the PS website clip pretty much picks it up...Man I need to get an early release download file of this sooner than later!! Can´t wait for the full real album to come out! |

 | Yeah for more clips from different sections of the songs (well not all of them, but enough of the ones I don´t already have somehow)...I feel like Dr. Frankenstein, getting pieces of the creation, little by little, and with that crazy full moon to boot...and...get this gang...It ain´t a done deal yet, but...I think I may have found a promo copy that I´m hopin´ to have in my hands by the end of the week.
Stay tuned...I´ll be buying a deluxe copy, maybe even the Japanese import with the bonus cut even, anyhow...but man am I ever excited...and waiting for that email back!! |

| Listening to the clips on the different pages you can clearly hear the quality difference between amazon clips and the one on concord website.
This remind me of what Paul said in his last interview, today most mainstream produced is (in my own words now) very cheap produced and you only hear the difference if you have a very good sound system (or ear-plugs) - and you see, even amazon does not have to care about the quality of those clips, because for most customers it sounds good.
Whenever I order a CD from amazon and only can listen to their clips I have a feeling of ´oh I really hope it sounds much better on the real CD...´
I know it might a reason of disk space and bandwidth, but amazons server farms are really big (remember the wikileaks-supporters attacks...did not really crash their system). At least for Paul Simon they should provide higher quality 20 second samples. Justin Biber can come in 64kbps ;)
