I attended a music trade fair a while back and was lucky enough to buy a bootleg Audio Tape of Simon and Garfunkel 1969 Live.

Simon and Garfunkel Back To College
Live at The Miami University Oxford Ohio November 11 1969.

Tracks:

1 Mrs Robinson
2 Fakin It
3 The Boxer
4 So Long Frank Lloyd Wright
5 Why Don´t You Write Me
6 Silver Hired Daddy of Mine
7 Cuba Si Nixon No
8 Bridge Over Troubled Water
9 Sounds Of Silence
10 Bye Bye Love
11 Homeward Bound
12 At The Zoo
13 America
14 Song For The Asking
15 A Poem On The Underground Wall
16 For Emily Whenever I may Find Her

I know that its a different concert same tour that has been officially released as Live 1969.

Just wounded why Cuba Si Nixon No was dropped did they get asked to drop the song or have it removed from the official live album?

Wow, wish I could have gone to this concert -- heard it´s widely bootlegged. I went to school at Miami/Ohio and saw Simon solo in 1973 with my roomie -- remember he was wearing a white Tommy Nutter suit.

Art expalined they had two firsts on stage during this tour hot flask of coffee and a live band. Paul went on to pretend today was his birthday and then said no it was not so they had jokes with audiance.

They also mention the step ladders around the stage as was being filmed no doubt for the TV special being released with 40th Anniversary Edition of BOTW.

If anyone from Paul´s management ever reads this Forum...PLEASE release "Cuba si, Nixon No" already!!!! It´s a truly great jaunty, rollicking song, and as a lost track from "Bridge Over Troubled Water" it is also a lost piece of history at this point.
Here´s the live youtube version from the Miami University show in Ohio in 69

LOL !!! But why ? Since BOTW has been re-released 12th times already, I figured if that they had wanted to release it, it would be done.

Like Simon, I am focussed on his new album and tour.

Both good points raised.
It´s odd that with all the bootlegs out there, "Cuba Si, Nixon No" has never showed up (as far as I know). I was pleased when, during the BOTW 40th anniversary documentary, they played Paul´s guitar demo of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" to which I could proudly say I have (although not in the perfect quality that was featured).
Perhaps by the 50th anniversary they´ll release a disc of demos...
Hm...

Live Miami version . Never heard the studio one version though. Maybe Art still dosen´t like it and that´s the reason it was not included on the Anniversary release!

Cub Si/Nixon No. Simple reason why its not on Bridge Over Troubled Water at the time Art Garfunkel did not like the song he said no.

However on the documentary Harmony Game he admits now he likes Cuba Si Nixon No . Opinions and mood changes.
