 | This thread started with a question about what you wished Legacy Recordings would release? Or it was at least implied that we are talking about Legacy.
My gueess is that Legacy (Columbia) only have access to unreleased material from the S&G period. If they would wish to release anything else (that isn´t in their archives) they first have to ask mr Simon if he has anything in his archive that they could release and secondly they have to have his permission to release it. That is why this won´t ever happen.
I would want the S&G mono albums to be released by Legacy and maybe also the quadrophonic mix of BOTW? And the studio verison of "Cuba Si, Nixon No". Fat chance... |

 | The best scenario would be for Paul to do something like Bruce Springsteen (Bruce Springsteen: Live ´75-85) and Tom Petty (Tom Petty Live Anthology) have done and make a massive, career spanning live album.
It could be something like "Paul Simon: Live Through the Years, 1972-2012" and could include live versions of songs from every tour up till now. |

 | And the title could be "50 Ways to Peddle the Same Songs". |

 | Not if they are live versions. Paul has only released two live albums in his solo career, the last one being twenty years ago. If he did it right, I think it could be a big success. |
