 | As usually, very late :-(
I learned that I can not wait so long, and book my summer trip before...could be that we have to wait till the end of May. |

 | I would Love to do something like that for one show so I could meet Paul... On second thought I get the feeling that if I ever met Paul Simon it would end in a long awkward silence... I guess I´ll just stick to listening to his music. |

 | How I should send something to a forum guest? You ever thought about that?
I can not send anything to Paul Simon.
All I know now - from someone who has send ME his application - is that Mr. Simon is in search for a tour guy for his guitars. |

 | The job is not for meeting Paul Simon.
The guy who has send me his application is in business since 20 years or so, and has been on tour with many other well known artists. |

 | Lots of rumours going round. Glastonbury is a pretty strong one and I´m hoping for the Hyde Park festival. They are announcing their Sunday night headliner in the next 8 days. Don´t book any holidays June/July !! |

 | Neil Diamond was at Glastonbury 2 or 3 years ago. Sometimes they book some "oldies". Paul Simon at Glastonbury..... it would be nice.. |

 | Extract from April´s edition of Uncut magazine.
He says he enjoyed the reunion shows in that he tried to recreate people´s memories of how the songs were at that time, rather than just a kitsch nostalgic repetition. That enabled him to enjoy the 15 shows, and have fun hanging out with Artie, but he wouldn´t have wanted to do more on one tour. He goes out in April, touring SBOSW. "After that, we´ll see. But this album is all that matters to me right now."
Thank you to Jean from S and G messageboard. |
