 | Am confused-the new S&G website says Sony operated-Sony brought Columbia? Thought I had read Paul had left whatever and gone back to Columbia, but see his ad video for new album is self-fianced and not through a record label? And Art is not with any labels now, right?

 | Yes, S&G were with Columbia who were sold to Sony in 1991. S&G are handled by the Legacy division of Sony.
Paul´s back catalogue, all the solo albums, have now moved from Warner to Sony Legacy. They didn´t get the new album, although I would guess it would switch to them in time. The new album is coming on Hear Music, part of Starbucks who distribute through Concord Records. They´ve handled releases by Elvis Costello, Paul McCartney and others.
I´m not sure on Art. |

 | Is this only confusing for me, or for others too?
Sounds like the company constructions our ex-finance minister made, to save him paying any tax... |
