Thats a good sign that Spring is the date around the release of the new CD.

Perfect timing for an album containing an opening track about getting ready for Christmas.

You mean Europe release date?
We know since many weeks the release date is April 12.

Although, it wasn´t for sure if this is the worldwide release date.


I´ve seen that amazon.com is offering a deal to receive the CD on the day of it´s release (within the USA)
Does anyone know if other amazon shops do offer that too?

ok, my fault - have not checked amazon.de, but it was also clear that the CD will be released on April 12 - everywhere.

Well in the UK at least, HMV and Play.com are listing it as April 11th. Monday´s the typical release date here. It´s also being released on the Decca label here.

It doesn´t look like there´ll be a deluxe edition here.

I hope we don´t have to order the Deluxe CD/DVD at amazon.com Lately it takes a long time to ship items from the USA. I am still waiting for the new album from Edie.

I hope not too. If that´s the case I´ll either not bother with the deluxe edition, since I´ve found I rarely re-watch bonus DVDs with albums, or I´ll order the UK CD and then get the deluxe edition later.

Me too, still waiting on Edie´s album from her (not from amazon though, from NewburyComics). Was notified it was shipped 9th Jan - still waiting (said 4-6 weeks).

I have paid the express delivery rate for Paul Simon - I can´t wait that long, and don´t trust it to get into shops in NZ/Australia immediately released in UK/USA.

There it´s being released by Universal, not Decca like the UK.

And for a really cheap price...11,99 for a CD/DVD combo?

The US version costs 17,19, and that is more than 12 Euros.


So...eh, I need something else to order with this CD now, but what? What do I need in 2 months? :-D

Yeah, that exchange rate looks a bit out of date. That site just seems to be grabbing the data from Amazon.com. I´m guessing they´re trying to make money from affiliate marketing.

I hope Decca do release the deluxe edition but so far it doesn´t look like they will.
