In the spirit of Proof´s post about ranking the solo records, lets rank the S&G records. Mine are as follows:

1.Bridge Over Troubled Water
2.Bookends
3.Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme
4.Sounds Of Silence
5.Wednesday Morning 3 AM

To me they only got better.

Of course, it depends on my mood. Not sure if I can rank them but I´ll put Bookends as my favorite album, just for being so beautifully artistic. Bridge Over Troubled Water includes my favorite song, and the rest include some of the greatest material that sounds amazing when performed live.

1.) Bookends
2.) Bridge Over Troubled Water
3.) Live From New York City, 1967
4.) All the rest at a tie.

I only am doing the studio albums, but can say that I think all their live albums (like Paul´s two live albums) are totally amazing too.
I´ll go with levels here again, rather than the more traditional ranking order. The albums within a particular level appear in chronological order, and not in order of preference.
I think the Level I albums here are as great as Paul´s best solo albums (Hearts & Bones; Graceland; Rhythm Of The Saints; Surprise), and that the Level II albums, like Paul´s next best batch of solo albums, aren´t far behind. Only the debut really sits as a lesser work, but still it´s certainly not bad, & has some great stuff on it.

I:
Bookends
Bridge Over Troubled Water

II:
Sounds Of Silence
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme

III:
Wednesday Morning 3 A.M.

They are all great, it has been wonderful to hear for the first time songs that the average fan would never
hear and neither will I, I think a lot of artists have some great stuff but just because it´s not on the hit parade
those songs were never heard much on the radio.
