The latest issue of MOJO magazine in the UK includes a brief interview with Paul discussing the forthcoming album. However, he also says he will tour Europe to support the album and will not be doing any concerts with Artie this year.

I can´t believe this! I´ve waited 3
years and he´s not going to do any
US concerts for the album?? Surely he
will do some, but I can´t find that
article. The midwest is a place he
rarely plays as it is.

I wouldn´t take this as an indication he´s not touring the US, Cher. He was talking with a magazine in Europe so was emphasizing what matters to to its readers: whether he´s touring there.

He´s mentioned a tour to support the album in interviews with US magazines, such as Rolling Stone.

A European tour would take him 3 perhaps 4 weeks. A few concerts in France, UK, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium perhaps but i´m sure Paul will also do a tour in the USA and i think this tour will be longer than the one in Europe!!!!!!

This is good news. I´d much prefer a solo tour to promote a new album that another S&G tour.

This follows a similar pattern with You´re The One and Surprise which were both promoted with a short European tour in 2000 and 2006 respectively. For those albums/tours, he also returned two years later in 2002 and 2008 for a festival tour.

So hopefully we´ll see him in 2011 and 2013?

Don´t forget the guy is going to hit 70 this year. I would doubt his concert tours of 1999 - 2002 would be any indication of what his schedule might be to promote his new CD.

Totally agree with you Gerard. On stage Paul is brilliant and full of energy but I have seen a few photos of him after one of his shows a couple of years back and he looked exhausted and drained. Much as I would Love to see him tour I prefer to leave it to him to work out his schedule.
