 | Am I the only one who thinks he should never perform that song again? I am honestly not a fan of it and thought him performing it live just made it worse for me. I honestly hopes he never performs it again. |

 | Agreed. It was great, the only thing that could have been improved slightly was the band´s harmonies with Paul but everyone was in sync the whole time. |

 | Didn´t someone of you record it?
Hm,... a few years ago every new video was up a few minutes after the show. Most of us can not watch US TV |

 | Not being a big fan of the song I actually really enjoyed the performance. I doubt that he will include it in his future setlists though. Btw, I think he seems to be in excellent "touring" shape. Does anyone know if a tour has actually been announced? |

 | I tried to watch as it aired at 7:30pm with plenty of annoying distractions from the kids, bad time of night. I just watched it again at the above link, with no distractions, on the computer with earphones, and it was great. I Love the music and the beat, it´s very catchy.
I wonder why others here don´t like it. I think it´s typical of Paul to produce something like this, remember 7 O´clock news/Silent Night with Silent night over the news report with references to war and murder.
My favourite line is ´I got money matters on my mind´

 | Thank you Mimi!
Oh, Bakithi is playing with his new toy, funny. :-)
I can hear some differences to the album version which are good.
The bass is more prominent, and brings more rhythm to the whole song, the drums are also more pleasing. And the echo effect on the guitars is gone, as I expected.
Live it is all more pleasing.
But the sound mix (on that performance) is not really good. It has a extreme low volume (I had to turn my audio system to it´s loudest position), and also the guitar solo by Mark was too quiet. (especially at minute 3:00). I think that was not in Pauls hands.
Still think the song has a verse too much (the speak by the Reverend also counts as a verse)
Did you also hear your egg-timer ringing a few times during the song? ;-)

 | Did Stephen Colbert say the new album will be out April 2010? LOL!
Anyway, I liked the performance. Really happy to see Paul in such a good shape. Looking forward to seeing him live again soon! |
