 | Hi folks,
Any indication so far that the new song is taking off?
Me, I am very disappointed because it is nowhere to be seen on my iTunes home page. There is something lacking here, because with my past Simon boughts through the software, I guess they would have recommended the new song to me, but nothing, nothing.
I just noticed that GRFCD is listed as the 5th most popular song from Simon. But if you need to search deep for the song, good luck...

 | Also, it is not at all in their Xmas songs section. |

 | Why not email them and suggest they put it there? It might be a bit early yet but I don´t know of any other new proper Christmas song. |

 | Luckily I am a happy user of the Zune Marketplace. It suggested it to me before I heard it here :-) |

 | It was/is in the top 1000 at amazon.com - but there are 2 mp3 songs available, which is a little bit stupid, because they now have different rankings. |

 | I guees he will promte it just as much as S&G promoted "Citizen of the Planet"... Speak about a lost opportunity! But that was of course not a single, and that´s another thing that bugs me! Why wasn´t it? Instead is was almost hidden as an extra track with no marketing at all. Typical. |

 | Yeah, that´s what has been going on in my mind last week. I said to myself: ´where is Paul ?!´.
Still, there are positive things going on...the free download, the Facebook page, sending the song to a few magazines & radio stations.
But a few appearances here and there would do no harm... |

 | Well, my iTunes indicates me that GRFCD is the most popular Simon track at the moment.
Still, it does not make the Top 200 sellers on it. A bit depressing when you see the s*it that is among that Top 200. |

 | I did hear it played on XM radio a couple weeks ago, though I´m not sure what station. |

 | Well, without even one single official statement by the singer about this new song, what do you expect?
Curiosity... thats all I can say. For sure, I am not a fan of that song/style, but he himself said in that (now hidden) video, that this is his best song since years. And now? What?
Release a song, produce a video, but hide it somewhere on a webserver. Strange ideas his management follows.

 | The video is "hidden" now, cause Hear Music has some kind of exclusive deal with Starbucks. Through December 14th no one else but Starbucks has the right to publish or use the "Behind the Scenes" video ;) |

 | It´s a hidden video? But I have heard of it, I would Love to see it, it´s
very original, Youtube doesn´t have
everything I guess. |

 | Starbucks... I have no Starbucks here - Starbucks only dominates the USA, no management should think so simple.
This idea of Starbucks+Music will be over in a few years. |
