I will vote for Rene & Georgette Magritte along with Hearts And Bones.

Obvious Child and Born At The Right Time back.

Anything from The Capeman but especially Born in Puerto Rico, Trailways Bus or Can I Forgive Him?

I loved Hurricane Eye in 2000/2002 and would like to see that back instead of YTO.

BTW: Starting this thread does not confirm that there ´will´ be a Paul Simon (solo) tour in 2011... ;-)

[if you read the first headline someone could be missleaded again]

When was the last time he played The Obvious Child live?

I think you have to be realistic about such songs as The Obvious Child.
It needs a drumm-percussion section of at least 3 people or more. (Even with 3 it does not sound perfect)

So I would not expect this song to be played. How should it sound with just 1 drummer and 1 percussion player? Would be complete different. I think this songs gets all it´s power from the drumms/percussions, and not from guitars.

Once Upon A Time There Was An Ocean - imagine it, if you will - the crowd are restless, the stars are beginning to appear in the cloudless summer sky as the sun begins to fall towards the horizon. Suddenly the background music disappears. All eyes turn to the stage.
Where has the stage gone?
The crowd knew it was there a moment ago but now it´s shrouded in mystery, shrouded in fog.
A crystal clear sound greets the early evening hush, even the birds stop singing to listen. A chord, so unmistakeable comes to kiss our ears. The eager expectation of something special swoops across the scene.
The crowd sees a man pick up a guitar - is this him?
Cymbals start to rattle. Bass is added to the chord. Was that electronica too? A sax?
Another guitar´s picked up - this has got to be him... But no - another sound adds to the chord. Now percussion.
Then the guitar melody strikes but no voice - has he missed his cue?
Then from nowhere, a beat after the crowd is expecting it (although, why they were expecting it ahead of time, no one really knows), "Once upon a time there was an ocean..."
Wow!!!
I´m there!!!

In the Mojo magazine he said he´ll be playing in UK this summer. He said he´ll e playing Kodachrome, Peace Like A River, Crazy Love. He also said he won´t be playing familiar songs like Me and Julio and You Can Call Me Al... Wondering if it´ll be a solo acoustic tour?

It´ll be interesting to hear some different songs from older albums, especially Crazy Love. Although I imagine some people will be disappointed without You Can Call Me Al.

It may just be me but I don´t think Kodachrome tends to sound good live - certainly not in YTO Live nor CP91.

I assure you it won´t be a solo acoustic tour. He´ll tour with the familiar band, the one who is on the album.
