 | I dunno if this has been posted, or if it means anything, or if I´m just slow. But on that one website where you can download the new song for free, if you look at the information on the track it says "Track 1 of 10" which would fall in line to the number of tracks Paul usually has.

 | A tour to support the new album would be great. I hope we will hear some more definitive plans in the near future. |

 | At least this is no Surprise now ;)
On the other side Getting ready beeing the first track on the album is no good news for me. At least it shows which is the general direction of the album (and not - as some people mentioned - this song could be just a bonus track)
But I still have hopes. I do not like Once upon a time there was an ocean because of its sounds, so I hope it is the same with this song, and the others stand out. If there is one Another Galaxy and a How Can You Live In The Northeast pedant everything is fine.
BTW: Are there any news about Paul promoting this single (playing it at Good morning America or wherever?) I doubt that there will be any talks about it in a few months, if he does no promotion. (remember: Also THATS ME was a single. - and remember the song OUTRAGEOUS has a official video...) For what?
Pauls last mini hit - that some other people beside his die hard fans might realize - was Father and daughter. And before that one? Hard to say (none from YTO or Capeman I guess) |

 | In the UK Father & Daughter got to number 31 and before that The Obvious Child made it to number 15 - so there was a big gap.
The Guinness Book of Hit Singles also lists Something So Right in 1995 as a minor hit, although this was a duet with Annie Lennox. |

 | Only half of the studio albums have 10 tracks. There Goes Rhymin´ Simon, Still Crazy..., One-Trick Pony, Hearts And Bones and Rhythm Of The Saints have 10.
But Paul Simon, Graceland, You´re The One and Surprise have 11 and Songs From The Capeman have 13.
I hope that there are 11 but would be happy with 10!

 | Pure statistics hey ;-)
I remember an interview just a few years back when Paul said he is not happy with the concept of an album, and having 10 songs on it to realease it a.s.o.
Interestingly he can´t come out.
But would we like a mini album (4 songs), every 2-3 years? |
