Does anyone know where I can listen to qfta? I´ve been looking all over for it and can´t seem to find it anywhere.

It was on iTunes since last year, but it looks like it was taken down. Should be on the new album set for spring 2011, but we´ll see if that means the 2009 single was a demo for this album or if it will be the same track.

I´m pretty sure it was a demo. When Paul was asked about it he said it was greatly expanded from the original version.

I doubt it was demo Jay.

If you hear the song carefully, you will hear lots of production noise(urban sounds) here and there.

But I do not dispute that Simon might have expended it meanwhile.

True, but when he said it was expanded he was referring to the album. Really it doesn´t matter though cause it´s a great song.

Yes!! You need to go to nutsie.com, and here´s the address for "Questions For The Angels":
http://www.nutsie.com/album/Questions%20for%20the%
20Angels%20-%20Single/7405017

Now at first you will get a page with some odd video "associated" with the song...don´t understand how or why this happens, but if you´re not a member it just does. Ignore it.
You need to become a member & I think "grab" the song when you do.
So you´ll see the "Questions For The Angels" single banner at the top, click on "grab album" & then register as a user. You can get it to come back up again, if you...a) just keep fast forwarding past the songs it brings up for you after it plays QFTA (it should be the fist song that comes up everytime you log in)...or...b) go to the home page & then to "my nutsie" & it should come up first again, and if not refer to a) & start fast forwarding again until it comes up.
I LOVE this song, and this version & would Love it if anyone could get me a hard copy CD of it...especially if this version of it is going to disappear, or has already done so, in favor of a different album version...

After reading that message by linclink I just can say: Wasn´t that a great time in the 80´s when they played such new songs on the radio, you put a tape into your recorder and press REC.

Is this really the time with more usability and more time for entertainment? Or are you all using most of your spare time to drag and drop your mp3 and picture files into some subfolders on your computer, and read instructions like this one to hear a song? 5 minutes reading, 20 minutes to try, 3:45 minutes entertainment.

´Aint that the truth Bodo. I remember recording You Can Call Me Al in the way you described,a week and a half before Graceland hit the shelves. Simpler times for sure.

Thanks so much for the link to nutsie. Next best thing to a real radio station that actually plays Paul Simon. Love the recommendations it brings up.

Oh yes Bodo, the good Old days.... ;-) That way I recorded hours and hours of music and then decided what to buy (or record the albums from friends because I didn´t have that much money as a pupil). I still have all the old recordings gathering dust in the living room cupboard.
