 | I can see on the forum here that there is some debate over the new song with some people saying they don´t like it.
Hopefully there are many others who do like it. I have set up a Facebook group to promote the new song as I would like to see it become a success and for it to give Paul Simon his first UK number 1.
So if you are on Facebook, it would be really great if you join the group and tell your friends to join too.

It doesn´t matter if you don´t live in the UK, you can join all the same. I really would like to see a proper Christmas song at the top slot at Christmas, rather than another X Factor song or one of these non-festive protest songs like we had last year.
Most important of all, it would be great if we all downloaded the song during Christmas week and play it to everyone we know.

 | Darn, makes me wish I had a Facebook for things like this. But I still stubbornly remain as one of the only young adults without Facebook. Good luck with your group, and I´ve been spreading this song among my friends who will actually stop and listen to "that Paul Simon guy" |

 | I´ve sent a request too. Might be an idea to set it up so people can automatically join without being approved? |

 | Have tried to post the link on the facebook amps group but can´t get it to work from there. Can some one else try? Maybe post it onto the other S/G and AG group pages too. |

 | Thanks for getting on board. The group already has nine members in just 14 hours. Please spread the word and invite your Facebook friends to join.
I have tried to change the settings so that people can just join but I couldn´t work it out. Can anyone tell me how to do that?
More important than joining is actually buying the single. Last time Paul was in the charts, it was with Father and Daughter that got to no.31 in the UK charts. Let´s see if we can do better this time.
If you´re not in the UK, it doesn´t matter you can still buy it and maybe it will get into the charts in several countries! |

 | Edit group settings on the left hand side of the page. Am a bit puzzled though as group is an open one and I thought it was only closed groups that needed people to be accepted before they were allowed to join. |

 | just checked out the help page. It looks like they have changed the way groups are run now and everyone wanting to join a new group has to be accepted whether it is a closed or open group. I started the amps group before they made these changes so anyone can join without being approved. |

 | The new song goes on sale tomorrow - but why not download it for free from paulsimon.com and then you listen to it for free during the run up to Christmas.
Then during week commencing 21st December we can all pay our 69p to help get it up the charts during Christmas week! |
