 | Could we already know three tracks to this new album ant not even realize it? Could they be...
1. Getting Ready For Christmas Day
2. Love in Hard Times
3. Questions For The Angles.
Do you think that is a possibility?

 | Paul usually puts between 10 and 13 tracks per album,so there´ll be at least 7 or 8 brand new songs to hear. Actually I can´t wait to hear the studio version of Love In Hard Times-I think it´s a beautiful song. By the by,I LOVE the new GRFCD single!! I think the production is excellent, and what a cool piece of rhythmic guitar driven excellence. A great melody too. It´s got some true Paul Simon subtleties-like when he sings ´getting ready,oh getting ready´, on the second ´ready´ Paul goes down to an F# note, and not up to the D note like I expected. Just a little thing I noticed. I love Paul Simon. |

 | So far the line up is looking good. Remember he said that Questions For the Angels and Love in Hard Times were vastly expanded from the versions we´ve heard. I wonder what he meant, surely more instrumentation but what about lyrics? |

 | Don´t forget about Rewrite! Also a while back the dreamer of music site had posted up some song titles from an inside source. Normally I wouldn´t believe something like this but they were right about Surprise. The tracks they listed were as follows;
-In the Red Sea...Sometimes
-Love in Hard Times
-Crazy For Fun
-The Closed Eyes of God
Now I don´t know what to make of this...

 | If those are the tracks on the album this is what we´ve got so far (maybe not in this order)
1. Love in Hard Times
2. Rewrite
3. Getting Ready For Christmas Day
4. Questions for the Angels
5. Amulet
6. Crazy For Fun
7. The Closed Eyes of God
8. In the Red Seaâ?¦Sometimes
This puts us at eight tracks so far... Nine if there is a Title track. But of course who really knows right now...

 | I doubt very much that there will be a song called "So Beautiful or So What". Sounds more like an album title to me. Like Sàmon is telling the world that "if anybody still cares, this is a ´beautiful´ album"... |

 | Seems we have more than 11 songs
The Afterlife
Love Is Eternal Sacred Light
Love And Blessings
Paul Simon is getting ready to release a new album entitled So Beautiful Or So What. It´ll be out Spring 2011 via Hear Music / Concord Music Group. Its songs have titles like "The Afterlife," "Love is Eternal Sacred Light," "Questions for the Angels," "Love and Blessings," and "Getting Ready For Christmas Day." I sense a theme there, but for now I can only speak for one track, the track debuting in this post with Christmas in its name.

 | This site says the new album comes out in April http://www.musicheadquarter.de/v1/news/paul-simon- musikalischer-gratis-mp3-weihnachtsgruss_3733.html So what is it? March, April, or May? |

 | Or exactly 11. Well, Amulet - didn´t he say he gave that song to this singer...
Whatever, these titles all mean nothing, I hope the songs sound more pleasing, Love in Hard times and questions for the angles give me hopes.
We still have to wait 5-6 months, so these discussions will calm down in a few weeks I guess ;) |

 | Great article on the new album in the new issue of Rolling Stone with John Lennon on the cover (Lost Lennon Tapes- full last interview tapes found & Yoko Ono on John´s last days)...
and the article references a song called "Dazzling Light", and the fact that there is a title track "So Beautiful Or So What"- can´t recall anything more right off the bat... |
