 | There was news earlier that the album featured Afro-Carribean sounds, so I´m not sure it´ll be Quiet like the song of that name on YTO.
Mother And Child Reunion is essentially not a happy song, but with the Carribean sound it´s not so depressing. Perhaps the album and those songs will be a bit like that? |

 | I´m not fond of downloads, primarily because you usually are forced to buy an mp3. Some places, like monk music, offer a number of download format choices including .wav, .flac and .shn formats. I also burn the downloads to CD because I do a lot of listening in the car and I have a great stereo in the vehicle. I only listen to mp3´s when I´m working out; I rarely listen on the computer because the sound is so poor. |

 | One needs to be careful : he did not say it was ex-exquo with Graceland. He said that it was his best since Graceland.
Bodo is right. We can all remember that Simon said that he thought he had done his best work with Capeman, and we know what were the results.
He was very satisfied as well with the YTO tracks too, I remember.
The fact that RS agrees with him on his statement is certainly an encouragement, although RS could be a bit of a strange creature, for instance giving 5-star to any Bob Dylan record since Time Out of Mind (except the Xmas project). LOL !!!! |

 | But I guess Paul still thinks Bernadette is the best song he ever wrote. Well, it is a very very good song... it´s just that 95% of all listeners do not realize that :-( |

 | BTW: I started to listen to mp3 in my car...simply because changin the CD´s takes too much attention. |

 | Interesting....surely the only reason it was previewed was for them to write a review for it ?? If that´s so it must mean a release is imminent. |

 | Yeah-you would think so,but I´ve been on some of the Sony/Columbia websites in the last few hours, and Paul´s name is not listed yet as one of the artists on their label. No mention is made either of any upcoming release by him, unless they are keeping it under wraps for the time being, for whatever reason I couldn´t say :-) |

 | Yippee! Forget my previous comment, because I just looked at another Sony related site and there he is-Paul Simon(listed under ´P´ groan). All his albums are listed too,but no mention of the New album. Still, what a relief, yeah? |
