I got nerved because so many people complained about their half email address (spiders can not use a incomplete email address, anyway email addresses are sold by big companies or stolen from them (facebook for example), so now I can only show the ID.
I show my gmail address since 8 years now on many webpages, and I never ever get any spam emails (lets say I get 2 spam emails per week, most of the time because I sign up on every obscure webpage...but after 1 time also these mails find their way into the spam directory). The filters are too good today, at least the gmail filters are working very well. I stopped using hotmail in 2003 or 2004 because their filters did not work in that time. Anyway...
