I hope that a Region 2 English version of One Trick Pony is released. I did tape the film when BBC 2 in the UK showed it in the late ´90s.

Its not a bad movie prehaps Paul sould now write a sequal!!

I ordered a copy from the US and it plays fine in my UK players.

I don´t think they´re region coded at all. OTP was released as a manufactured-on-demand product. I´m guessing they don´t bother applying region coding to those.

The one i ordered from amazon is not region coded either. only says "this disc is expected to play
back in dvd "play only"devices.and may not play back in other dvd devices including recorders and pc drives.
It played fine though in both my dvd player and computer. my player is compatible with PAL and NTSC systems.

I thought "One Trick Pony" was a fine film. The cinematography is beautiful: those rolling hills and highways in Ohio, the baseball scene in the park, and the opening scene with the airplane landing are all very well done. Using real musicians instead of actors was a brilliant stroke. Paul was right: musicians are musicians and actors just act like musicians. the soundtrack is one of his best albums; to this day "Oh, Marion," "Late In The Evening," "Long Long Day," "Ace In The Hole," "How The Heart Approaches What It Yearns," and the title track are some of my favorite Paul Simon songs.

+1. The soundtrack album is still one of my favourites also. And I would Love to have the film itself on Blu-ray,not just dvd,but that´s a forlorn hope I know:-( Great band, lovely chord progressions and Late In The Evening!-what more could you ask for? And Oh,Marion is an excellent song to play and sing on Acoustic guitar.
