For people here who has not had a chance to see the doc on the production of the Capeman on Broadway.

Paul makes a convincing plea about the idea of the project and how he react as an ´artist´.

Yeah, I recommend any fan to see the doc. It took me several years before I had the chance to get a torrent of it.

I think I watched it 3 times, and like Bodo, had a brief e-mail exchange with the director (who has directed the Graceland classic album doc around the same time),

I should see one day if I kept track of his e-mail. I remember he was saying that unfortunately most of what was going on during the production of the musical, he was unable to capture on film...cause he went there a few times only, on a punctual basis, kind of, and even had trouble to get accepted by participants, him and his team.

That is surprising cause lots is already going on in the doc ! Anyhow, I think almost every time he was debarking over there, they were in a new crisis...

This doc is probably the most detailed account I have seen of how Simon could work.

After all this work, crafting, and re-crafting the song a million times, how disappointing it must have been for him to see the plug being disconnected after 68 shows.
