| Hey Sue,how are you!! I´m good thanks-just busy gearing up for the album release : ) I do keep in touch with James from time to time yes!! I NEED to come and play in your neck of the woods don´t i?!! Singing with Harper was such a thrill-me,my friend Ellen(who sings on Behind The Door-the video posted above)and her band and Harper all sang ´The Weight´-we were practising the song and he just walked in and started singing along with us! He also complimented me on my guitar playing when Ellen and I did ´Behind The Door´!!!
On another Simon-related note; Ive just finished(about an hour ago)being filmed for NY-1- a new york 24-hour cable/television programme; my friend works for Tourism Scotland and managed to get me to play a couple of songs and get an interview!! It´s going to be broadcast on New York tv soon-included in a piece on the Edinburgh Festival; BUT!! One of the film-makers,Patrick,was a chief interviewer of Paul Simon when he did the Capeman and sat in on some of the rehearsals for the Musical!!! He was recalling tales of the time-amazing!!!! |
