 | Nick from Widnes England Writes:
Acoustic Guitar Magazine (See Sep Article)July/August 1993 interviewed Paul Simon after a Charity concert featuring Simon & Garfunkel in Los Angeles. Who attended the concert?
The Concert was In March 1993 and was held to benifit The Children´s Health Fund, an organisation that Paul himself cofounded.
Headline act was Simon & Garfunkel. Support was an acoustic set by Neil Young. Also a few cameos by the Great Flydini (aka Stev Martin).
The concert itself was a wam and memorable return to the best material of Simon and Garfuinkel. Their saet spanned "The Boxer", "Homeward Bound", The Sounds Of Silence" with Neil Young joining in on electric guitar.
Also featured was a lush new guitar arrangementof "Bridge Over Troubled Water". (The magazine ran a transcript of Paul´s new arrangement for guitar of BOTW
I would like to know if any forum mebers were lucky enough to have attended the concert and if so what it was like and do they recall the set list.
Its over to you guys!!

 | Almost complete, but not quite. Neil Young joined S&G on electric guitar for "Sounds Of Silence" but Simon & Garfunkel had joined Neil for his encore of "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" and "Helpless." |
