Fred Carter Jr is best known for his guitar parts added to the original version of The Boxer.
In more recent years Deana Carter recorded an album in tribute to her dad. This was covers of some of the artist´s her dad produced.
The stand out track was The Boxer which also featured guest guitar by Paul Simon Fred Carter Jr. Harper Simon played electric guitar and co sang on the track.
Fred Carter Jr may he rest in peace.
