| Me too, as you wrote the wrong headline :-)
"Tour postponed again"
Well, I do not have a problem with that, as long as Paul just would have some plans what he will do this summer :) |

Although I wouldn´t have bought a ticket had they come to Europe and i do feel that Simon and Garfunkel do belong to the past (however great that was), I can´t help feeling sympathetic to the fans who had planned to see them - what a huge disappointment.

Although I kind of understood since last year that S&G tours were used as a mean for Paul to play his solo stuff for larger crowds.

My Tabor´s says paresis runs a slow, chronic, progressive course. I´m wondering if he will be able to ever do a whole long running tour or just occasional concerts. I really do wish this was to be a solo concert of Paul only. My little heart is breaking. This is the second time I have to get a refund for Madison. My daughter is also very disappointed

Suzi i know how you all must be feeling. I would be devastated but I am sure Art will make a good recovery. after all they both sounded great at the Hall of Fame late last year and the Australian tour. they have just made Mark musical director for S and G so they must be confident of touring again. could be something happening in 2010 when they are both 70.

They turn 69 this year in October and November, so 70 in 2011. I am the same age they are. I was thinking kind of like you that they might be doing these tours together through 2011 as sort of a good-bye or end of the 2 of them working together. I think Art´s voice is pretty bad but would still like to see them together. I didn´t get to see them together in the early years. Most of my money went for tuition for 3 kids in private school. The throat thing doesn´t sound that great to me. But --- I´m will continue to hope.

I think his vocal chords must be in worse shape than what fans are being told. Cannot figure out why Paul won´t go solo-or take Harper along!

I agree. Especially after reading about the condition in my Tabor´s and at various sites on the internet.

Mmm,I don´t see Paul doing the show solo, even though most of us would see that as a logical alternative. In the past decade we´ve seen Paul and Art finally succeeded in a genuine reconciliation and mending of their friendship, and when you look at the underlying issues(in Art´s opinion) of what drove the acrimony all those years-Paul releasing the Paul Simon Songbook and wiping Art´s vocals from the Think Too Much master tapes in 1983 to name just two,I doubt Paul would risk the friendship at this stage by taking a S&G audience and turning it into a Paul Simon tour, just when it appears Art´s performing career may be nearing it´s end. It´s a loyalty call I suppose. In my opinion I think he should do it,but it´d be nice if it came with Mr G´s endorsement too.
