Maybe now it´s a good time to change my name on this board. I often thought that I should have used my Christian name instead of my nickname. ´Ans´ is only customary in my country, FE in French it has a different meaning ;-)
So from now on I will use my Christian name ´Anna´ on this board and it´s also handy that I won´t have to use a dot anymore :)

Hé Bodo, When I go to your site, for some reason I don´t get the main page but go straight to the forumpage. Why is that? It´s no big deal, but what is more annoying is that I get the forum items in a very small window only.

hm, I do not know why joost.
Maybe you should delete all cache files from your browser and try again.

Can you change to the big forum size when you select it from the MENU ?

We all enjoy the sun and the long week-ends ;-)

And maybe a new Simon and Garfunkel tour doesn´t really excite us... ;-)

Nick from Widnes England writes:

Yes I hopewe have more Simon and Garfunkel tour especialy in England. I havce never seen them together except on tv DVD Youtube. Hope one day they allow me the chance to see them as a duo.

Without the sucess of Simon and Garfunkel Paul would never have gone solo. Imagine if he had stayed in London as a folk musicain and not returned to join Art and form the duo.

The sun?
The sun!!

Where is that Nathalie. No joke, here we have rain and cold weather since 2 weeks. And cold means, it is cold as in November. Now the clima experts begin to say that the volcan-ash has taken our summer... must be those Island people making problems again - but Surprise, I believe the French have taken our summer! ;-)

(today is the first sunny day btw.)

No Bodo. That doen´t help. Even if I delete cookies. Never mind, I can live with it. You still have a great site, worth visiting everyday.

We have just had our summer this weekend fabulous. Ans, it won´t be the same but I´ll try to get used to Anna.
If Paul had stayed in london on his solo career - I believe when they are saying today Happy birthday David Zimmerman people would be saying wasn´t he the guy who was the folk musician in the early 60´s that Paul Simon was inspired by to go folk.
Instead of Happy birthday Bob - Paul who?

Hi Scaaty, another reason for changing my name is that I also think the pronunciation of Anna is much easier in other languages as Ans, except maybe for the German language :) I hope you and everyone else will get used to it.

I think Paul would have found another way to become a famous singer/songwriter. The music is inside him and would have come out, one way or the other. Which is also an important reason for the S&G break up. Paul is so talented and always exploring for new ways in music, staying in one kind of music style would have killed his creative talent.
