 | THE CAPEMAN, featuring music by Paul Simon and book and lyrics by Paul Simon and Derek Walcott, will be directed by Tony Award nominee Diane Paulus, who directed the concert version of HAIR at the Delacorte in 2007. Sergio Trujillo will provide choreography and the Grammy-winning Oscar Hernandez and an extraordinary 12-piece orchestra will play Simon`s haunting score. There will be three performances, August 14-16, 2010.
`I think the Delacorte is the ideal place to hear the music from The Capeman,â? said Paul Simon. `It`s going to be a great musical night.â?

 | Those kind of outdoor theaters, built since several thousand years, have the best sound quality imo.
Capacity is 2.000 people, a quiet intimate place.
Maybe we get a CD or DVD - three nights and 6.000 visitors is hardly appropiate for such an effort.
Probably only 5.999, because Simon is coming for one show... |
