 | According to "Radio Times" (UK BBC listings magazine) Harper Simon is a guest on "Loose Ends" tonight (April 3) on BBC Radio 4 at 18:15 hrs BST.

 | Harper is doing well in England, his self titled album is well received and doing better each week. Harper will also be at the Walk The Line Festival in The Hague in the Netherlands at May 14th.

 | Debbie Reynolds was on th esame show called Loose ends.. first time I put together that she was Paul Simon´s Mother in law at one stage.

 | Thank you for the link Scatty. really enjoyed listening to the show . loved the bit where she said she really loved Harper and used to ring him in the morning. From things I read he is still pretty close to Carrie and she ,Paul and Harper co wrote :The Shine " on his album. Debbie Reynolds was also very interesting with a great sense of humour. |

| That is a lovely photo of Harper and Debbie, there seems to be great warmth. Harper seems to have close relationships with all the women that have been in his fathers life.
In Ireland in the 80s when there was a move to try and introduce divorce the constant arguement was what it would do to the children "hello Divorce goodbye daddy" was a favourite slogan. I remember someone taking the line from Graceland "the child from my 1st marriage" as a grim reminder of what would befall the children of the land. Well that child certainly doesn´t hasn´t shown any ill effects. |

 | He has said he had mental problems during his ´20´s which slowed him from pursuing a song writing career. Thankfully he is on track now. He does seem to have a good relationship with Carrie, Debby, and also Edie. Just meeting him briefly he seemed very warm and humble and happy to be doing what he is doing |

| And that was probably more to do with not being able to "make his famous Daddy look so dumb" than with his actual upbringing!
