 | Nick from Widnes England Writes:
What if Paul and Harper where to tour together. Is this a fantasy dream or a possible reality.
Do you think this would be a good idea, if Harper opened for his famous Dad solo or for Simon and Garfunkel. I am sure that it would boost the awarness of Harper as a musician stepping out of his Dad´s shadow.
Your opinions please over to you guys!!!

 | I think Harper does like to perform with his Dad once in a while but not tour with him. I think he wants to follow his own route to success. And I think he is realistic enough to see he doesn´t have to compete with his dad. He can have a fine music career of his own. Harper can be more than satisfied with who he is a good musician, songwriter and a good person with his own place in life.

 | I like the idea of family members touring together but a lot of others do not. As far as an opening act, I do not think Paul/Art has ever had an opening act for solo or S&G. I consider Art´s appearances with Paul more in line of a guest appearance and their solos just as that, a solo performance during a joint show. I have been sad that James G. did not like music as at one point I thought Harper, James & Adrian could be together for fundraisers etc. |

 | Brian Wilson opened for Paul on one tour. And then there was that Robert Zimmerman guy, the one some people call Bob Dylan, whoever he was... |

 | I think Brian Wilson don´t might be happy about that statement. :)
I would say it was a double-concert. Wilson played really a lot of songs. |

 | Matthew is right, Melno Park, the London based band harper was in, opened for Paul at Summer Pops 2002... then Harper popped up on stage for The Boxer... I remember spotting him and telling my Wife ´That´s Harper!´. Then Paul introduced him part way into the song. The whole show is available in DIME:
