 | LOL Ans
I was thinking about his own CDs. At the end of the tour he could take some time and invest the earned money in a new project of his own. |

 | Lol Mimi,
I understood it completely wrong, I should read the message better before I respond ;-)
Your idea is even better, Paul should start with releasing CP 91 on DVD and Blu-Ray and I can think of other stuff like his collaborations so far and even make some new ones. Mog is right, Paul is great at re-inventing songs and song collaborations.

 | I have just bought two tickets for the Toronto show. Didn´t think they were too expensive - cheap in comparison to the cost of the flight and the hotel I´ll need because I live in the UK!
A few things keep cropping up that are a little annoying though! Paul´s income from record sales, concerts, royalties from cover versions, repeated plays on radio stations around the world, multiple usage in film soundtracks and in piped music (in airports, department stores, etc.) will have lead to a lifetime (and ongoing) total of hundreds of millions of dollars. He is not doing the Simon & Garfunkel tours because he has run out of money!
I have posted before about the Central Park 1991 DVD. Pioneer did a deal with Warner Music Video in the late 1980s to secure exclusive rights to the release of a number of concerts on Laserdisc. This contract restricts the future release of these concert videos on any digital format, so includes DVDs. There are a large number of titles affected by this including concerts by Madonna, Dire Straits and Prince. It also affects the Born At The Right Time Tour documentary that was also released on Laserdisc at about the same time.
To date, the contract has held for all affected titles with just one exception - The Way We Walk by Genesis was re-released on DVD in 2002. However as that is the only one in over 20 years since the contract was signed, and Paul himself will have no interest in this, I cannot see it being released soon.
I did read on another post here that the contract will expire next year - however I have not read that anywhere else or from any official source. |

 | was at a trade show recently hosted by Zeiss demonstrating state of the art microscopes and the title was "Sound of Science".
Would Paul get royalties for that I wonder? |

 | I know one of Paul´s charities is (was)
the Best Friends Animal Shelter in Utah. I about fell over when i found out my vet knew Paul and had taken him
and Edie on a tour of their shelter. I
don´t know if any of their dogs are from there.
