Hi all

I´m sure we all have questions about Paul and his music and would Love if he´d answer them personally.
And I even think it´s possible. We should do the following:

We gather our top 10 questions to Paul in this forum. Everyone can post questions and then we vote for our "official top 10 questions to Paul" (I guess we could do that with a "poll" ?)

Once we have the list, we have to submit it to Paul. I think that must be possible somehow. We can contact the management, or even Harper via facebook. Apparently Paul is also on twitter, so I am sure there is a way to hand the list to Paul.
IMPORTANT: When we submit the list, we should shortly explain what Bodo´s site is (we should probably mention the huge fan base from all over the world) in case they don´t know it already. Furthermore we have to declare that this is only a ONE-TIME-THING and that we won´t ask again, even if Pauls answers arise new questions.

I can imagine that if Paul gets this list, and he knows that these are the top 10 questions of a huge fanbase and that it is only a one-time-thing, he would be glad to answer them (or at least some of them).

What do you think ?

If this would be possible my 2 questions would be:

Is there any chance that the Central Park concert 1991 will ever be released on DVD or Blu ray?

Will there be another solo album in the near future?

Good idea. Though I do not think it would work.

But if it would happen, my only question is:
Dear Paul! We have got a lot of valuable things from you already. What is your wish - what would you ever like to get from your fans?

I agree that it is very good idea but I believe it is wishful thinking to imagine a reply...
Ok let´s fantasize :
´What is your main source of inspiration nowadays ?´

why is everyone so sceptic about getting a reply ?

I mean if Paul eventually gets the list, and he knows that these are the questions of a huge fan-group and that we won´t bother him again after he replied... why shouldn´t he take five minutes to reply ?
As long as we don´t ask the same stupid questions as mainstream-journalists (will there be another S&G tour?) i am pretty confident that he would reply... but maybe I´m just a dreamer ;o)

I have a question...

When you are planning a concert tour how do you decide which songs you will play live and in what order?

I think he might reply. I found this in my surfing about Paul Simon.

´Reeling at the price of tickets for Simon and Garfunkel´s recent singalong, Smerdon wrote a "soppy piece of fan mail´´ to Paul Simon, boldly asking for a ticket or piece of memorabilia, like a guitar pick. What chutzpah! Smerdon was stunned when a package arrived in the mail: ``The letter read that Mr Simon had liked my fan mail and wanted me to have a piece of paper with the lyrics and notes to The Sound of Silence, which he had personally signed.´

Well, we´re real fans who don´t complain, and we´ll ask nicely. i think they´d better be good original questions tho.

Kuno, I will put my (natural) scepticism aside and play along (I already put my question).
What is yours ?
Matthew, I will vote for your question !

Ah - I have just seen something like this on a US newspaper.. can´t remember, was reading it on the airplane (Times..something).

There people from all over the USA asked questions to some famous person - it was Aretha Franklin. That was nice to read, although I did not know a lot about Aretha before, so I can not tell if these are stupid questions people asked there (but one question was about the next album, one was about why Aretha never flies with airplanes since 1982 (not a good question to read if you sit in one at the moment)

Maybe this magazine could ask Paul in the next time...? Yeah, I should know the name of it..haha.

Ok, it was just the ´TIME´ magazin, nothing more.
Here is the article..

Maybe we ask them to take Paul as their next person..

BTW: Aretha Franklin just looks horrible with all that make up, like a male drag queen

Aretha has definitely seen better days.

As for Paul questions, I´m always curious if he has other hobbies apart from music. Does he paint? Does he cook?

Since he´s traveled around the entire world, what places would he tell his children to visit during their lifetimes?

If I sent him a bottle of something for his birthday, what does he like to drink?

I like the question about hobbies. I read that he injured his finger playing squash (when he couldn´t play guitar for some time). I´d like to know if that´s true. Did he play competitively, and what standard did he reach. I read about a new Squash centre in New York. Maybe he had something to do with that. (I play competitvely in Aus.)

As the obvious question about the release of CP91 is already posted, I´d go with a personal one:

Do you believe that there is a god ?

(I doubt that Paul would answer that question, actually I even doubt that this question would make the list, but I really wonder what his answer would be..)

Paul already answered your question, Kuno. He said in 2006 in an interview for the TV that he believes in god.
