 | Hi all
I just noticed that two shows (1973 and 1974) are available on Dime. Quality wise not as good as the live-rhymin album (obviously) but at least they are complete shows. Samples are posted as well.

 | You can also get the Osaka 1974 show on there too, spoted a bit back. I LOVE the Live Rhymin´ days.
A full extended re-master of Live Rhymin´ with a DVD is long overdue!
Lincoln Duncan is my name and here´s my song... Sigh... |

 | Do we know if they even videotaped the entire Live Rhymin´ show? The only footage I´ve ever seen from it is Sounds Of Silence... |

 | Dime is a music sharing community (audio and DVD video). Mainly live concert recordings.
To use it requires applying for a user name (membership is limited so you have to keep trying daily until you succeed - ie when other peoples membership lapses due to inactivity).
Next you have to learn about how to use and the various free programs needed to use it.
Firstly, you need a client program (see help FAQ6 for Dime´s list of client programs). I use, and recommend utorrent.exe.
Next you need programs to play and convert audio to burn to CD´s.

This is confusing to understand but well worth the effort. I have been a member for 3-4 years and have gathered and share a lot of Paul Simon stuff, as well quite a few other BBC Tv concert broadcasts of other great performers.
Always happy to share Paul Simon stuff to any dime newbees. My first recommendations (and ones I am always seeding) are BBC TV Concert from Nov 2006 at St Lukes and the full concert FM Live Broadcast from the same year at Philadelphia Tower Theatre (Oct 2006).

 | Thanks for the information. Sounds complicated but my teenage son seems to know about this so I can pick his brain.
He´s here trying to restring his electric guitar for the first time and broke a string :(

 | Also, just posted is an 8GB DVD video audience recording of full Toronto concert November 2000.
I have downloaded and watched parts - is better than I was expecting. Includes a rare performance of Pigs Sheep and Wolves.
