 | Congratulations
Oh, seems like he has done it again
And I ain?t had such misery
Since I don?t know when...
Is there any chance in the next 10 years that Paul will finish his next album? Two years of S&G touring..yeah fun.

 | LOL !!! And now Canada !
And I did a 4-hour drive and paid a lot 7 years ago to see them in Toronto believing it was their sole Canadian appearance...
I am telling you...they won t stop until they have done Antartica ! |

 | There is a simple rule you can follow when Paul Simon tells something in an interview: He will do exactly the opposite in about 2-3 years.
Whatever, again there are many excited people, many people which say this is their only chance in life to see them. So I can only say it is good for them and they can be happy. It is a never ending story.
Personaly I am just bored now. Two years of S&G touring again now. It looks like Paul gave up his solo career, while Art is still pleasing his fans too ... no agreement?
I expected an album for this year, not a S&G tour. I am a little bit pissed of at the moment...will look what other musicians can do for me this year.

 | Lord knows I could grovel at the feet of Paul Simon(and practically did!)However, there are a lot of fans who have been in Love with S and G forever and will be very grateful for the chance to see them. Paul will write an album when he is ready - it may not be as soon as we like, but he will do it when he can. In the meantime I would not begrudge fans of S and G the chance to see them live. |

 | And do not forget Paul took the time to re-arrange some of Yoko´s songs and practice with Harper and peform-also was writing (lyric?, words?) with Harper for the cd and doing goodness knows what else during the recording-
You never know-Paul may be assisting Adrian and his band!

i do not think S and G touring will be more than a couple of months this year.Last year only a couple of months in Aus NZ nd Japan. Plenty of time for Paul to concentrate on his writing,if thats what he wants to do . but maybe its not so easy for him now. He has given us so much for the last 45 years we should appreciate this and to me his family should come before anything. Most people his age are retired but he is still bringing up a young family and deserves all our support. also he does so much for charity causes in his own time for no monetary reward also, so happy Artie and Paul have obviously reconciled their differences. it was very obvious in Hall of Fame concert, so its turned full circle ! Love them both |

 | I know it is only a couple of ´weeks´ brenda, but the fact is - Paul only does 1 thing per year as far as I learned. ;-)
So I expect no new album, and neither some solo shows. While - that was exactly what I expected for 2010.
Last year Paul even had some excuses for the Australian tour (they did not do that in 2004, so they say goodbye there now too). This year? Well, they play in countries they have been playing in 2003/2004. Would be more fair if the play Southamerica or Africa.
Maybe it is time for him to write a book about his career now. His songwriting really has become very slow :) I see, this always happens if everything is fine, so lucky Paul - no illnes, good marriage, good children, good friends, a lot of money. No reason to write a song and complain about anything :-) |
