We were so lucky to be there - what a great concert. Paul and Harper were wonderful together. Sean introduced them and told about he and Harper being friends since they were little boys. He also said the Harper´s mom Peggy is Yoko´s best friend.Yoko gave them both great big hugs. They obviously are very fond of each other.

Barb - no, I didn´t see any of them in the orchestra. That being said, I am not sure if I would recognize Peggy. The only photo I think I have seen of her is that beautiful photo of her when she was quite young on Harper´s MySpace page. However, I don´t think it is posted there any longer. I did notice Bob Gruen, the famous rock photographer, sitting in the front orchestra section. Bob Gruen took the classic photos of John Lennon in his sleeveless white NYC t-shirt. All the best,

Sounds like it was a great night. It´s nice to see they can have normal relationships with other people (even if they´re all famous) and great jam sessions together. Yesterday I took my kids and some friends to the local pool, and I was wondering if they ever were able to do that with their kids and friends when they were little. Must have been hard with prying eyes.

Were Paul and John Lennon friends? I don´t picture them as being good friends. Seem so different personalities.

Hmmm....I never thought about that. I think they must have been friends , though, who knows how close. I am sure John´s death must have been hard for Paul. I imagine he was a lot of support for Yoko. Both nights she was extrememly affectionate with Harper, and with Paul and Harper the night of the concert. She was also at the Mercury Lounge to support Harper in October.
