No American City can so relate to the need for a Bridge Over Troubled Water, and the power of being Homeward Bound."

That was nice said.

He could just add: "How Can You Live In The Northeast" ;-)

How boring this news !

´I am sure this will be the last time´ - Paul Simon in 2009 about a potential S&G tour in Asia and Austrialia.

I think I am about to retire as a PS fan.

He might have meant the last time for S+G to tour Australia and Asia? Just a thought - I´m not entirely sure without seeing the entire quote in context.

does anyone know which day they are performing? The site lists them first but it doesn´t necessarily say they are first...

On this twitter page is April 24 announced as their performance date. Also mentions it will be the only American appearance for 2010. I can´t imagine they will tour outside the USA again.

And another article which also mentions this will be the only appearance:

Ah okay then ! Thanks Ans !!

I do not mind a S&G concert here and there for special occasions, but if it is a hint for another US S&G tour, it would have been a big turn-off for me.

I can understand your feelings about that Mog, if they would keep touring they become an (silly) oldies act. We had enough reunion tours. Special occasions is a different act.
I still hope Paul will come with some new solo material and/or solo performances or solo tour.
