I asked recently where the screen saver photo of Paul in the desert is from. The answer was it was a collage Paul stood against a rock in Central Park New York with his Gurian guitar. Bodo then super impossed a deset in place of the park.
I prefair the original photo.
However the discussion went on to talk about Paul´s Touppe (Wig) and or hair weaving.
Yes we are all vain at times and wish to deny we are going bald. Thats no doubt why Paul started wearing a Baseball Cap and or Hats on stage to hide his hair loss.
Art Garfunkel also started going bald too and now on stage he wears a hair piece and even jokes about it in concert. On the official web site for Art Garfunkel you can in the photo gallary section see a couple of photos of Art without the hair piece.
The fact that both Paul and Art are 68 years Old and are naturaly losing hair like many men do eventualy should be of little importance. Why is that I heare you ask
It was the music of Simon and Garfunkel both together and solo that we first fell in Love with not their hair styles.
Lets get back to the music and forget about the hair loss.
Ok sorry to moan about the wigs.
