Lot of busy with the new members in the family !
Simon is the provisory name of one of Loreena Mc Cat kittens,he´s white with blue eyes.His brother Spot is alike,the basic difference is a small spot in his forehead.Girls are Lucky and Joy.
2 boys died ,Cream(like Siamese) and Freedie( white )with 7/10 days but guess it all right with the others by now.
SOOOO CUTE :-)
What a pity I cant keep them all!

I remember Simon saying that was the first beloved he lost in life!
That made me smile since he added that makes him wonder about his wife = I meam,the dog died and he thing about the wife...

 | Yes, it was one source for Mother And Child Reunion.
I prefer dogs, my own one died at the age of almost 15 two weeks ago.
I think Simon too, although I have a small TV-scene with him at the opening evening of the musical "Cats" in the 80`s.
But I cant`t think of a cat in his songs.
But "and just like like a dog, I was..." (guess what)
"like a dog in the moonlight"
"dogs in the moonlight"
or the dog in One-trick pony, who was very much alive but his ex- dog, contrary to his son. |

"Cats are cats" would be more sucessful than Cars Are Cars - at least in USA !!!
Btw, I didnt get the last part about the son. Guess my "grandma´ activity is affecting my neurones ...

| In the film he was talking about his ex dog living in his ex apartment with his ex wife and his son ( who not ex).
Also in one man´s ceiling is another mans floor there is a verse about walking the dog
And there´s an alley
in the back of my building
Where some people congregate in shame
I was walking with mv dog
And the night was black with smog
In my experience, while cats are considered "girly" pets, their independence make them more suitable to men, and I know many a man who has become besotted with the resident cat when they move in with their partner! |

Tom from Oakland here. I´m sorry to read about your dog passing away. I think that losing a pet can be a very difficult experience. Dogs and cats don´t stay with us long enough, but I am sure you gave your dog a wonderful 15 years. |

For me dogs are the best friends of us since many thousand years, although some critical people say they are not "natural" animals and domesticated against their real nature.
Maybe that`s true, but we cannot make wolves out of them now. |

| I am a cat person but also always had a dog. When a dog goes even after a long (and hopefully) happy life there is such an emptiness left behind as they are real "in your face" animals.
Enjoy all those happy memories of a dear friend. |

I also want to offer condolences. I know how tough it is to lose a pet, dog or cat (I lost one of each this summer). I am a ´dog person´ but Love cats too.
