What happened in the beginning of the third verse ? They were completely out of sync (time wise, not harmony wise).
And by the way, I really don´t like the pretentious way Artie always ends this song... you know, after his very last tone when he throws his head back and looks like he is expecting the big applause... Although it´s much worse on the DVD than on this version.
Maybe I am picky, but he does that ever since S&G have reunited in 2003 and I never liked it.
I don´t think pretentious is the right word here. That´s like saying: "Who does he think he is, Art Garfunkel or something!".
No one can take Bridge ´as a performance´ away from Artie, it´s his and always will be. I agree, they were well out a one point! Even the professionals mess up from time to time!
Well somehow it is: "Who does he think he WAS, Art Garfunkel or something!?"
Ah, we should end it here, I think the performance is good. S&G singin Bridge together on stage, I must say that always must be something special for the audience.
What I still do not get: Who is responsible for Arties outfit? I understand that after 30 years the good Old Gilet may have been fallen into pieces - but this shirt remindes me... [rest is not PG 18]
Did Art have a flu or something that day? He sounds a little like that to me. Good they ain`t lifting the song a half tone before the last verse, I feel it`s more right to stay with the same tune as the studio version
