Hi

I did not get any negatvie feedback in the last months, but I myself experienced some problems sometimes with this site.

So I just want to know 2 things:
a) Who has problems with these small brown scrollbars on the right side? Do they work all the time? Or do you get a very strange error message sometimes?

b) When you click in the main menu on a link, will this page open in a complete new site, and the background as also the menu disappears? (That means, you only see the forum, but not the menu on the top, and not the "PAUL SIMON,... WE ALL WILL BE RECEIVED IN GRACELAND" line.
Dos someone have this problem?

However I have always put it down to the Safari Browser issues or Mac.

No, also people with IE have this problem. I guess this happens when the Java script (which should load the page INTO the center-window) is too slow... then the normal hyperlink begins to work, and just loads the page...hm

a) Yes, sometimes it happens, maybe when I click too fast. (?)

a) I do not have this problem, bot the brown-thing is very slow, I have to wit 6-8 seconds, until I am able to move it. (I would like to have the possibility to go back from the forum to the main page with 1 click - eg to have the http://www.paul-simon.info always visible on the bottom.)

b) No, it works fine.

+ If I read one comment in the forum and then use the Forum Mainepage bottom at the top left, I get back to the topic where this comment belongs and not to the "All" Topic. And it makes a lit bit difficult to scan the new comments.

But the page is already very good, I appreciate your efforts.

Thanks for your comment. Yes the brown scrollbar loads very slow sometimes. The problem is that the whole page has to be loaded (including all pictures), until it can calculate how big it will be.
With the normal grey windows-style scrollbars you do not have that problem...but they look awful.

I have a Solution

If the brown scrollbar is loading too slow, I can make it optional for you to choose the grey windows-style scrollbar, and not the the brown small one.

I will make a checkbox on the right bottom (where you see that BIG checkbox), and every time you work on your own computer the Old scrollbars will appear automatic.

If some more people want to go back to the old scrollbars, I can do that.
