 | I up until just recently thought that ´Graceland´ sounded dated too,but I´m rearranging my position on that. I think that in my mind,because it was so popular,that it is always tied into 1986/87,that whole period that it ´seems´ dated by the company it keeps. I tried listening to it recently with the thought in mind that I´d never heard it before-that it was a new album,and now I think it sounds pretty timeless,which of course it is. It certainly doesn´t sound as dated as any Phil Collins or Elton John albums from the same period imo. |
