I don´t like a few songs from ´Paul Simon´ ( Paranoia Blues, Hobos Blues).. Car´S are Cars is also not very good..but I like the harmony part. Cars are Caaars all over the wooorl..
I don´t like Quiet, not really a song IMO only a meditation sound.

 | hm.. like most people I agree that Cars Are Cars is one of Pauls weakest songs, but I must say that I Love both Think too Much a and b. If we go back to S&G I think quite a few of the songs from Wednesday... are fairly borring.
The Cool, Cool River continues to be one of my favorites along with Kodachrome, Boy in the Bubble and at the moment Hurricane Eye - but the last one has yet to stand the test of time :) |

| I agree with Quiet, but I think Hobo´s Blues is a wink to the jazz and a little joke with Stephane Grappelli, without any claim...it´s short and clean. (and I was young in 1972 :-) good age)

 | I only think Cars Are Cars is not very good. Other songs like think too much (a+b) are good I think. There´s just one song from Paul Simon I really don´t like from his S&G period and that is Cloudy.

| Johnny Ace is good, it does tell a great story, it just has a odd vibe to it that I don´t like.
Quiet is gorgeous and I really Love that one though it does not have normal song structure. I also like Car´s are Cars, metaphor is fantastic and quite silly at the same time. But of course this is all just my own opinion. |
