 | Michael Jackson, who organised the song "We are the World" to raise money for Africa" in which Paul Simon also performed in, died tonight of a heart attack at the age of 50 years. May he rest in peace!

 | Hi Scaaty,it is the most terrible news-I´m still reeling. I hope people remember him for his fine voice, wonderful songs, his innovative dancing, and not for the tabloid fuelled crap that followed the guy without mercy. R.I.P. Prince of Pop. |

 | That is shocking
I wished he would have a comeback, saw him at a concert in 1991.
Whatever you can say about the person, although I am not a big fan, I Love his music. These are the 80´s and early 90´s, IMO the climaxe of the music industry.
But you see - this kind of show-buisness can kill you - when money is more important than the music.
Isn´t it incredible that you can have a private doctor in your house, and die next to him? Taking hundreds of pills every day... |

 | What shocking news to wake up to... isn´t it strange how a life can be over just like that? |

 | Poor MJ... the product of a society with upside-down values I believe... At least he´s at peace now :-( |

 | Fans who take part in the online quiz will already6 know that Michael Jackson featured in one of his videos Group Cultural Olodum.
Of course Olodum backed Paul Simon on The Ovious Child. During The Born At The Right Time Tour it was a pitty Paul only brought the group out for the opening song on stage.
Michael Jackson may he rest in peace. |

 | Art Garfunkel dedicated ´Bright Eyes´ to Michael Jackson last night at The Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. I was wondering if either of them would say anything about this tragic event. |

 | RIP Mike. For some reasons the new was not shocking for me.We all know he was a problematic guy.Thank goodness Paul is
incredibly "normal" even being involved with the show bussines - and stopped using not heathy stuff a long time ago!
´Bout Olodum,I guess Michael just met them because Paul had done previously, and I have to say I kind of blamed Simon for the overdose of the band we had here... Too much drums |

 | Bright Eyes would have made such a beautiful and touching dedication. Probably the best choice from the set.
Apparently Michael Jackson and Paul were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the same year too as solo artists, I didn´t know that. |
